Ken Lobb leaves for Microsoft

IGNcube has learned that Nintendo of America's Ken Lobb has left the company to go to work for Microsoft. No reasons were given for the long-time producer's decision to resign.

Ken Lobb has worked together with Nintendo and its second-parties for many years. His contribution on the Rare game GoldenEye earned him an immortal spot in the shooter as the Klobb Gun (Ken Lobb Gun). In more recent times, Lobb was involved with such GameCube projects as Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader and Metroid Prime.

IGNcube has long admired Lobb's work and his dedication to Nintendo. His presence from the Nintendo side of the business will be greatly missed. With that, we wish him the best of luck on his new life with Microsoft.
